News! Robert Longford Photography

A quick apology to all who have tried to contact me over the past couple of days. Joe and I headed to Italy for a wedding at lake Como and on the way home I left my phone in the hire car!

Anyway, I'm back up and running now so hopefully you can get through.

Diana and Peter are to due to be married at Osborne House on the 28th of August. After a quick look around the grounds and the beach with Douglas we headed back to the studio in Cowes for a quick meeting and a few shots of them.

Fiona and James were married at Northwood House and a fantastic Scottish reception then took place at the Royal Corinthian Yacht Club.

Guests were treated to a fine display of bagpipes and a mass participation Ceilidh!

Plenty to do this week as Joe and I prepare for a mammoth month of weddings.

We took a road trip to Oxted and Richmond to meet with couples getting wed this year and also met two couples at the studio for their pre-wedding meeting and little shoot. Here are a couple of images from those meetings..

Dan Maunder and Kerry Flower were married at St. Mildred's Church in Whippingham. Following a quick dash back to the house for the Bouquet, the ceremony could proceed. After an emotional service, the guests made their way to Albert Cottage for the reception. Nostalgic Carriages took the couple to East Cowes seafront for some photos and later a rodeo and our friends Cornerstone entertained everyone late into the night.

The new Mr & Mrs Crofts got married on Round The Island day in the beautiful Mottistone Church, followed by a reception at the bottom of Hoxall Lane in a marquee at Owl Cottage where you could catch glimpses of the Round The Island competitors across the fields.

Frank and Katie were married at St. Patrick's Church in Sandown and then moved to Ninhams Farm for the reception. The weather was great again (good old Isle of Wight) and guests were able to sit outside on the hay bales until late into the evening.

Julia & David's wedding ceremony was held at St Mary's Church in Ryde and then everyone headed over to the stunning Osborne House in East Cowes for the reception which always offers some great locations for photographs. We were even blessed with some sunshine which all made for a great day for all!

Rachel and Martin were married in a marquee at Freshwater Bay House, overlooking the bay itself. It was awesome weather and the guests all enjoyed the relaxed ceremony before heading over the road to the Sandpipers Hotel for the reception.

Amy & Tim chose Albert Cottage as their wedding venue. Following the ceremony, guests basked in the sunshine and we took some group photographs. The reception then moved to the beach at Osborne House, where guests were treated to a spectacular BBQ by All About Catering and music by Cornerstone.
